The Georgia Public Safety Training Center is pleased to announce two upcoming training courses for 9-1-1 emergency communications personnel in Georgia. In conjunction with the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) and the Georgia chapters of APCO and NENA, we are hosting training on the national Telecommunicator Emergency Response Taskforce (TERT) standard.
This comprehensive program is designed to develop pre-determined and selected teams of telecommunicators who are trained, can be mobilized quickly, and be deployed to assist other communications centers in the event of disasters.
