GPSTC Announces New Communications Officer Online Training Course

The Georgia Public Safety Training Center has launched a new online training course to help agencies meet a critical training need of public safety communications officers. “Handling TTY Calls” is a 2-hour online independent study course that can be used to help meet the ADA requirements for ongoing training and direct and equal emergency telephone services to people with speech and hearing disabilities.

Important Changes for GPSTC Class Registration

We have upgraded our online services to allow agency administrators to manage student registration/records via their Student Access account (www.gpstc.org). Please notify both administrators and students that new options are available and please encourage them to explore these options on our updated website.

The Georgia Public Safety Training Center is moving toward online preregistration for all classes. If you are responsible for your agency’s training, it is critical that you visit www.gpstc.org and either establish an Agency Access account, or verify the information in your existing account, prior to June 15, 2014.
